THE POSITION:

As our Sr UX Designer (UX), you will serve as our expert on all facets of user experience (UX) for our internal and external clients. As the Sr UXD, you are responsible for the development and improvement of interactions between our users and all of our digital touchpoints and will help to define and lead the UX research, strategy, and implementation at EVERSANA Engage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a natural leader of people, you will be expected to deliver excellent business results through the efforts of your teams. You will demonstrate the following when achieving your results:

  • Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital solutions from concept to launch
  • Ideate and co-create with your cross-functional teammates to implement custom, front-end user interfaces with stunning but intuitive, user-friendly experiences
  • Conduct UX planning on all UX initiatives
  • Develop information architecture, wireframes, user personas and journeys, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces alongside your fellow cross-functional teammates
  • Plan and conduct competitor analysis and user research as necessary
  • Work with clients to understand their business requirements in the broader context of their digital strategy and advocate for the user by developing intuitive interactions and easy-to-use interfaces
  • Identify and execute on the best methods for user research and testing within client constraints
  • UX research, including planning, designing and facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings and articulating results
  • Work with analytics team to assess the impact of all UI design and usability changes
  • Support with QA to make sure features are implemented as intended
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (eg. responsiveness)
  • Perform all other responsibilities as assigned

  • Travel (up to 10%)
  • Hours (8+ hours per day, five days a week)

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

 

Education (i.e. degree required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in art or computer science preferred

Experience and/or Training (i.e. the kind of skills and knowledge and number of years required)

  • 4+ years of experience in a user experience-specific role, working deep in the trenches with cross-functional teams on diverse product design
  • Agency experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Expertise with designing and conducting usability testing
  • Expertise with user experience techniques such as journey mapping, storyboarding, and personas
  • Expert knowledge of responsive design and mobile infrastructure
  • Must possess strong creative, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills, understanding work and task flow prioritization is a must
  • Deadline-driven and capable of working on multiple projects at a time
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adept at brainstorming with a foundation in self-directed research execution
  • Thorough with an acute attention to detail
  • Flexibility in incorporating feedback and ideas
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, with the ability to present work to executives and large groups

 

Technology/Equipment (if applicable, the proficiencies required to perform the job)

  • Professional experience with the Adobe Creative suite, including XD, Sketch, Principle, InVision
  • Experience with other standard UX tools (eg, Omnigraffle, Justinmind, etc)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Experience and/or Training (i.e. the kind of skills and knowledge and number of years required)

  • Advanced degrees in art or computer science a plus
  • Experience working in the agile methodology 
  • Qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Ability to generate production-ready code
  • Healthcare or pharmaceutical digital marketing experience a big plus
