    THE POSITION: The ideal candidate for this position will be a finance professional familiar with project accounting and associated client billing and revenue recognition principles. Will also have experience with leading a finance team that can work with various members of the organization to understand contract and project status, prepare and analyze staffing plans to ensure profitability and efficiencies, and lead accurate and timely client billing for all assigned areas. Familiarity with working within a general ledger system, ability to create and maintain account reconciliations, review and analyze results and compare to budget or forecast, and an overall attention to detail.

    • Ensure scope of works/proposals (partner with CS) are completed/updated and executed for every client while maximizing profitability and proper allocation of resources.
    • Partner with BD Lead and Commercial Operations for the development and execution of the MSA/NDA of new clients.
    • Responsible for tracking recognized revenue of respective department(s) and conducting capacity analysis for upcoming months.
    • Responsible for the weekly and quarterly pulling and analysis of Utilization, Revenue Tracking and Non-Billable Time to GM and other business leads and/or labor department heads.
    • Manage the P&L forecast to budget; partner with FP&A to review monthly P&L files, answer questions around performance, and address any issues.
    • Weekly sales report (provide FP&A with weekly sales updates for departments).
    • Manage forecasting process by obtaining revenue recognized, obtains reforecasts from business leads appropriately for remaining months and creates rollups of all brands to provide overview for assigned department(s).
    • Facilitates getting new clients established within our system and onboarding them to company protocol.
    • Assist VP Finance with the development of content and data for the monthly performance PPT slides (Senior Management Versions).
    • Manages respective dept integration of outside/shared services/freelancers.
    • Approves write-offs before incurring (partners with BU lead to approve).
    • Inputs recognized revenue into forecasting document.
    • Creates rollup of all brands' forecasts, Conducts monthly capacity analysis.
    • Onboard new employees/training regarding financial operations of the company (utilization, forecast revenue tracking, forecasting, capacity).
    • Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
    • Consistently analyzing company performance and risks and providing this transparency to SVP OPS and GM's as applicable.
    • Partner with Business Manager & RA to determine client discounts during monthly billing (when applicable).
    • Assists Compliance Director with timesheet compliance and postings.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

    • Education – College Degree BA/BS, CPA Preferred
    • Experience and/or Training - Minimum 10 years’ experience in a finance environment specializing in agency and milestone billing and revenue recognition for a mid to large size finance department; able to work with all levels in an organization.
    • Technology/Equipment – Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products, knowledge of D365 a plus.


    • Experience – Previous experience with working in agency and milestone customer billing and revenue recognition environment preferred, management experience, advanced excel skills, results oriented.
