    At EVERSANA, we set our sights on a simple but powerful vision to advance life science services toward a healthier world.  We are a rapidly growing organization with a newly deployed Inside Sales team. The Inside Sales Specialist position will play a fundamental role in achieving ambitious new client identification and revenue growth objectives for the EVERSANA organization.  The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for lead generation and follow up, targeted campaigning, and generating market interest via company-wide initiatives.  Importantly, this role will help pave the way for the new EVERSANA brand in a growing and competitive market.  The Inside Sales Specialist must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, leveraging analytics tools to identify new prospects, generating interest in the EVERSANA platform, qualifying prospects and routing qualified opportunities to the Business Development team for further development.


    Your total compensation for this role can easily reach $90,000 with your base salary and commission earned from your contribution to the overall sales!



    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
    • Research new sales prospects using tools such as online industry analytics, development pipelines, client lists and press releases.
    • Consistently research and participate in internal training to ensure understanding of customer needs and requirements
    • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development Director for further development and closure
    • Ensure leads are properly followed up by the BD team
    • Meet weekly and quarterly metrics targets
    • Maintain and expand database of prospects
    • Work with internal marketing team to ensure timely follow up on conference and website leads
    • Identify prospective buyers on LinkedIn Sales Navigator – work with BD team to identify the companies to target for outreach efforts. After identifying the companies, identify the potential buyers to contact.
    • Add contacts to SFDC the Customer Relationship Management program that EVERSANA uses to manage and track contacts
    • Build a database of prospects to help track outreach efforts and results.
    • Email and connect with potential buyers on LinkedIn Sales Navigator or via email to secure meetings for BD team.
    • Occasionally join BD team members for sales meetings
    • All other duties as assigned


    • Working with BD team to process Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work.
    • Helping BD team prepare program performance reports for sponsor programs
    • Working across EVERSANA business units to reach out to clients with information requests


    • Cold call at least 20 people per day (100 people per week)
    • Secure at least 3 meetings per week for BD team
    • BD team to close at least $20MM from your outreach efforts for the year
    • A pure hunter mentality – no fear of reaching out to potential buyers multiple times until the prospect responds.
    • Strong organizational skills to organize and track outreach efforts to ensure we are deploying the appropriate frequency of outreach.

    PROFILE (The right person for this role):

    • Is someone who understands that success many only be securing meetings with 5-10% of the people prospected for each round of outreach and has the drive to continue forging ahead with excitement
    • Is a team player and works well with others
    • Is entrepreneurial and creative to consider other means of connecting with people and to contribute to EVERSANA in other ways as needed
    • Is a motivated, self-starter who will seek out and identify additional opportunities
    • Is adaptable and enlists embraces inputs from those within the organization
    • Has a college degree
    • Has 1-5 years of hunting/cold calling or telemarketing experience
    • Must have experience in life sciences 


    • BS/BA or higher
    • Previous Business Development/Inside Sales experience with track record of strong performance
    • Background in life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or related field
    • Strong phone presence and experience with consistent daily outreach
    • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Self-driven with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
