    THE POSITION:

    The individual is responsible for identifying, nurturing, scoping work proposals and closing deals for Seeker Health. 

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Our people leaders are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:

    • Lead the sales and new client acquisition effort in defined markets and geography
    • Lead the sales planning, enablement and operations activities including market execution plans with measurable goals for the Seeker Health’s business development
    • Develop and communicate priority solutions and relevant positioning strategies for clients
    • Deploy a clear and consistently applied sales management process to increase new business as well as accelerate speed of close time
    • Monitor performance of sales enablement and execution through pipeline accuracy, pattern identification and promotion of key wins to increase conversion rates
    • Collaborate with team including marketing and communications teams to develop and execute the sales strategy and enablement plans
    • Analyze various reports to assess business health including pipeline coverage, forecast and achievement vs. pipeline and booking goals
    • Identify opportunities, present capabilities and gain commitment from prospects leading to current and future revenue.
    • Analyze market trends, implications and develop strategies to participate in resultant opportunities.
    • Deal and contract management; develop and negotiate contracts; and pricing models
    • Stay to update on market and competition
    • Participate in industry events, conferences, customer forums and provide inputs to the practice teams towards developing contextual offerings that will help differentiate Seeker in the market place.
    • Meet and exceed sales revenue and future revenue targets.

    Qualifications

    EXPECTIONS OF THE JOB:

    • Travel 50%
    • Hours (40 hours, 5 days a week)

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

    • Bachelor’s degree in life science field or business
    • Excellent presentation and written skills
    • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical life cycle management
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated ability to cultivate business relationships 
    • Familiarity with sales methodology, application
    • Ability to travel regularly
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa 

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of ten years of direct sales experience in a management consulting company
    • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field from an accredited college or university 
    • Demonstrated success in driving sales management, sales planning, enablement and operations processes
    • Strong understanding of client issues and ability to articulate value propositions internally and externally for the life sciences industry; experience of collaboration across service groups, industries and functions to address complex account efforts
