    THE POSITION:

    The Manager – Nurse Network Contracting is responsible for oversight of the Nurse Network Contracting program and serving as a resource for team members. The position manages activities and relationships between team members, nursing agencies and nurse consultants. The Manager coordinates and administers the contracting program and policies, supports the development of operating policies and procedures and directs the work of designated program team members.   The Manager is accountable for achievement of key performance indicators and the quality of the contracting teams product and services that delivers maximum Eversana value, client and patient satisfaction. Additionally, the Manager is responsible to drive process and program improvements to the contracting process.

    Responsibilities

    CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate contractual rates that deliver maximum value to Eversana.
    • Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters.
    • Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
    • Monitor, manage and complete contract close-outs including new, extensions or renewals.
    • Provide regular follow up with leadership and communicate contract related statuses to ensure transparency and timeliness throughout the entire contracting process including updating and distributing key metric reporting to internal leadership
    • Drive improvements in the contracting process and demonstrate innovation related to how the organization can use new strategies and technologies while maintaining fiscal responsibility

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position is tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of the Nurse Network Recruiting team.

    These results are achieved by:

      • Partner with the Clinical Nurse Network to understand patient needs and any outlier consideration that may need to be addressed as part of the contracting negotiation.
      • Oversee organizational Nurse Network contract development and management activities, and enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance.
      • Ensure that contracts are properly entered into organizational databases and securely maintained.
      • Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues, obtain leadership input and facilitate pricing discussions.
      • Assure accuracy of the contract provisions and the loading of the contract in the Nursing Management Portal.
      • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict contract annualized savings.
      • Provide regular follow up with internal leadership regarding contract status updates and outstanding issues.
      • Actively participate in all Nurse Network contract related activities.
      • Maintain oversight and manage contracting team related to negotiating, credentialing and contract management.
      • Deliver a level of service to nurse agencies and independent nurse consultants that is consistent with the company’s brand, mission statement and cultural beliefs.
      • Prepare monthly contract activity dashboard for your active contracts.
      • All other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Excellent communication/phone skills
    • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills

    Qualifications

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Healthcare contracting experience
    • Minimum of 5+ years of contracting experience desired with quantifiable results in contract negotiation and administration

    Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.
