    The Vice President of Operations is responsible for the planning and oversight of all research and project management activities. This includes all market research management, project management, knowledge management, panel management, digital service delivery, and data acquisition.

    • Development & management of associates
      • Responsible for selecting, hiring, and developing team of people to complete required work
      • Provide training and development to associates
      • Develops associates skills through one-on-one coaching and mentoring Develop and communicate clear and appropriate performance objectives
    • Operations Planning and Management                                      
      • Oversight of shared market research and support services including research fielding operations, production, and  enterprise-level information systems
      • Responsible for assessing future operation needs of organization and developing plans to ensure appropriate people and process development.
      • Represents/ leads the firm’s research fielding operations, panel management, production, databases for research, authoring and content management systems.
      • Develop the firm’s Research Operations annual Operating plans  and budgets 
    • Company Project and Knowledge Management
      • Manage necessary communications and linkages with relevant user groups
      • Development and management of data warehouse and knowledge management systems for project results, common data sets, and select internal information
      • Lead internal projects/initiatives (includes development and communication of budgets, project timelines and resource needs with internal team )
    • Company Project and Knowledge Management
    • All other duties as assigned.

    • Lead operations team to meet deadlines and build firm competencies
    • Develop peer relationships and define plans for cross functional activities 


    • Travel 10% of the time
    • Hours Full-time M-F, 40 hours

    • Education B.S./B.A. in relevant field of study
    • Experience and/or Training
      • Market research methods
      • Panel management
      • Digital content delivery
      • Data management
      • Project management abilities
      • Good verbal and written communication skills
      • Attention to detail
      • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
      • Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels
      • Must have ability to work independently when necessary
      • 5+ years of market research experience in a leadership role
    • Licenses/Certificates n/a
    • Technology/Equipment
      • Proficiency in MS Office
      • Experience with survey tools, web scraping, and data management
      • Working knowledge of data tools, authoring tools, and CRM



    • Education Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH) preferred
    • Experience and/or Training
      • 10 or more years leading market research operations
      • 3-5 years of pharmaceutical or medical industry-related experience preferred
      • 2-3 year experience with content management systems and portal delivery of content
