    As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of the development team responsible for designing and developing products that serve our patients and providers every day. In this role you will be contributing to our development processes, developing the systems and services that make up our software products, and mentoring other developers on best practices for secure and quality code.

    • Performs full life cycle enterprise software development in Java, including requirements analysis, design, estimation, and development.
    • Develops quality software solutions following industry standards and best practices.
    • Writes unit tests that satisfy a high degree of code coverage.
    • Ensures that all development activities are secure and compliant with relevant regulations.
    • Reads, interprets, and contributes to documents such as architecture diagrams, network diagrams, technical specifications, procedure manuals, help documents, and project plans.
    • Interacts with internal and external clients.
    • Collaborates with other team members, including developers, analysts, quality assurance and project management.
    • All other duties as assigned

    The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

    • Bachelor's degree in Compuster Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
    • Four (4) years of experience in developing production-ready web-based Java software applications.
    • Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in software development in a variety of computing architectures and environments.
    • In-depth proficiency in Java and object oriented design concepts.
    • Proficiency in developing applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
    • Proficiency in developing RESTful and SOAP web services.
    • Proficiency in secure coding practices, including experience using SonarQube and SonarLint.
    • Proficiency using Bitbucket or other standard code repositories.
    • Proficiency with Linux command line and shell scripting.
    • Experience in developing microservices.
    • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS.
    • Experience with test driven development such as JUnit.
    • Experience developing with Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Experience using automated build and deployment tools, including Maven and Jenkins.
    • Experience with Jira and Confluence.




    • Experience with agile methodology.
    • Experience with Java 1.8 and greater
    • Knowledge of Java Thymeleaf or similar
    • Knowledge of containerization, Docker and Kubernetes
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics Web API, or Salesforce.
    • Documentation skills, including UML, Markdown, and Gliffy.

    Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.
